A Lawyer for the People by Patricia Santucci

In her own words, personal injury lawyer, Patricia Santucci explains why she’s dedicated her professional life to protecting the people, not the powerful.

As a kid growing up in Hamilton, Ontario a.k.a. “Steeltown”, I often heard the familiar slogan for Dofasco on the radio: “Our product is steel, our strength is people”. It still resonates with me 30 years later.

I opened my personal injury law firm, Santucci Personal Injury Law, so that I could dedicate my professional life to protecting the people… not the powerful.

When I started my legal career 15 years ago I worked primarily for insurance companies. I learned how to assess claims and how to reduce or eliminate them altogether. While this was excellent for my legal training and experience, I soon realized that it was not my true calling.

I Only Help Injured and/or Disabled People Now

Now I devote my time to helping the people in my community solve “real” problems, instead of helping insurance companies look out for the corporate bottom line.

My law practice is limited to representing ordinary people, using the legal system to help get their lives back on track after an injury—at least to the extent that the law can assist in that process.

Satisfaction Knowing I’ve Helped My Injured Clients

I feel a deep sense of satisfaction knowing I’ve helped my injured clients, and their families, navigate a complex legal system to obtain the compensation they deserve. I like to think of myself as a life preserver for those drowning in murky legal waters. What I excel at is providing injured persons access to treatment, benefits and justice. Without this kind of assistance in the community many people would be shut out by the system.

Stand Up For People That Need Help

I credit my crusading spirit to my parents, who raised 10 children (of which I am the youngest) here in this great city. We lived in the city’s East End where my father, after having played professional football, worked at the local steel company for 39 years. My parents instilled core values like honesty, hard work and respect in all of us. They always taught me to stand up for people that need help. It was their inspiration that put me on this path.

As Individuals Living, Working And Raising Families In Hamilton We Understand Our City’s Unique Struggles

We Hamiltonians know we live in a great city. People who aren’t from here sometimes have difficulty seeing its greatness, diversity and opportunity—but not us. As individuals living, working and raising families in Hamilton we understand our city’s unique struggles. As a lawyer practicing personal injury law I think this is important because, as a member of this community, I’m familiar with the city’s various resources and how to connect people with them. Having been born and raised in Hamilton, it was a natural decision to establish my law practice here.

Addressing Common Questions Up Front In Simple Terms

I regularly receive phone calls from people asking many questions—so much so that I’ve created a website packed with helpful information and articles on a variety of subjects relating to personal injury law, long-term disability claims and motor vehicle accidents. The site also contains a large frequently asked questions (“FAQ”) section. The FAQs are designed to address common questions up front in simple terms.

The website is located at santuccilaw.ca. For those who prefer to pick up the phone, I’m available by calling (905) 667-1987. Initial consultations are free.

My Focus Is Always On One Result. Yours.

I look forward to helping you or someone that you know with a personal injury matter, whether from a motor vehicle accident, a slip and fall, or any other type of injury caused by another persons’ negligence. My focus also extends to helping people with long-term disability claims having fought almost every insurance company that issues such policies in Ontario.

Focused on one result. Yours.
